Clara Ministral – UCC Literary Translator in Residence 2021-2022

Clara Ministral has been appointed as the inaugural Literary Translator in Residence at University College Cork as part of an agreement between the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures (SLLC) and Literature Ireland, the national agency in Ireland for the promotion of Irish literature abroad.
Clara Ministral is a fiction and non-fiction translator from English into Spanish. She will be based in the SLLC during the second semester of 2021-2022 and will offer literary translation workshops, lectures and other activities at UCC, while participating in literary festivals and other public events.
