A seminar with translator Stephen Beechinor on his new 2019 translation of Mexican writer Juan Rulfo’s remarkable short stories. Aspects of practice for the literary translator. Working with an independent publisher, contract & rights. Preparing the ground. Approach on method and style. Editorial process and drafting.

 

Stephen Beechinor’s seminar will take place in ORB 1.24, 2-4pm on Friday 10th February.
